The coordinator has run downsizings, hospital discharges, and digital-estate engagements before, so the first call is a working conversation: what is happening, when it has to be settled, who else is in the room, and what constraints matter to the family. We open an engagement or return a written no-thank-you within one business day.

How does the flat-fee pricing actually work?

We quote one number per engagement and the family signs once. There is no hourly meter running while a grandchild sorts through a lifetime of belongings — sort, pack, sell, donate, dispose, transport, equipment, in-home help, credential handoffs, and the written closeout are all bundled into the same flat fee. Founder pricing is set per engagement (scope, geography, timeline); the quoted number will not change without a fresh signature from the family.

Lanternmark runs three specialty envelopes. Senior downsizing & move coordination rightsizes a long-held family home end to end. Hospital-to-home transitional care organizes the fragile weeks after a discharge — transport, equipment, in-home help, and follow-up visits on one shared calendar. Digital estate management inventories, secures, memorializes, or closes a loved one's online accounts, subscriptions, and files. When two envelopes overlap — a hospital discharge that triggers a downsizing, a downsizing that uncovers the digital estate — the same coordinator carries all three.

What does privacy look like?

Nothing about the family leaves the engagement without an explicit sign-off. Sensitive credentials are stored in a controlled handoff, not in a shared note or email chain. The family meets one coordinator in person; vendors and contractors see only what they need to do their part of the work. On a digital estate, every account action — memorialized, secured, or closed — goes in writing and waits for family approval before it is taken.
